AdventHealth Ottawa earns “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group

OTTAWA, Kan. — AdventHealth Ottawa has earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization focused on patient safety. The recognition reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care for patients and families in the Ottawa community.

The Leapfrog Group assigns letter grades to hospitals nationwide based on evidence-based measures related to preventable medical errors, accidents, injuries and infections.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only national hospital ratings program focused exclusively on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries. The program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice each year, in the fall and spring.
