PALM COAST, Fla., April 1, 2019 – Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Scott A. Putney has joined the AdventHealth Medical Group.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group physician, Putney joins AdventHealth’s employed group of physicians with more than 300 providers, including 160 primary care doctors and specialists in Volusia, Flagler and Lake counties.
In his practice, Putney performs a variety of orthopedic procedures with a specialization in upper extremity orthopedics and a focus on wrist, hands and microsurgery.
Putney is board-certified by the American Society of Orthopedic Surgeons.
He earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. At the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Putney completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete a fellowship in hand surgery at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
His office is located at 21 Hospital Drive, Suite 110, Palm Coast, and he joins orthopedic surgeons Dr. Dennis Alter, Dr. David Gay, Dr. Jeffrey Keen, and Dr. Corey Rosenbaum.
