Mayur Mody, MD, of AdventHealth Medical Group Hematology Oncology at Calhoun recently earned his second and third board certifications. He is now board-certified in hematology and medical oncology in addition to internal medicine. Dr. Mody delivers specialized whole-person care in these areas while serving as a fellowship-trained medical oncologist in the AdventHealth Gordon Cancer Center.
Dr. Mody is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He completed his internal medicine residency and chief residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Mody then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology also at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Mody is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology. He also has been inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies.
