AdventHealth welcomes new obstetrician-gynecologist, Ramona Dagostine, MD, FACOG, to its team at AdventHealth Medical Group Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hendersonville*, a new location dedicated to providing whole-person women's health care to our Hendersonville community.
Dr. Dagostine is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than two decades of experience serving patients in Charleston, West Virginia. She is known for building lasting relationships with her patients, including caring for families across generations! Dr. Dagostine is deeply committed to providing whole-person care for women at every stage of life.
Dr. Dagostine completed her medical degree at Marshall University School of Medicine and her residency in OB-GYN at West Virginia University. She has earned multiple honors for her surgical skills and dedication to teaching and is an active member of professional societies including ACOG and the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Dr. Dagostine’s philosophy of care is rooted in shared decision-making with her patients. She believes in thoroughly discussing every treatment option available and allowing patients to decide what they feel is best for them.
“My approach to taking care of my patients has always been a very personal one,” Dr. Dagostine says. “I like to get to know them, and I like them to get to know me. I always take my time and believe in a shared decision-making process.”
Along with full-spectrum obstetrical and gynecological care, Dr. Dagostine provides endometriosis care, PCOS treatment, in-office gynecologic procedures, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, outpatient hysterectomies, high-risk pregnancy care and infertility treatment.
“The message I want to send patients, colleagues and guests that are trusting me with their care/leadership is that for more than 26 years, I have had the privilege of walking with women through some of the most meaningful and vulnerable moments in their lives,” Dr. Dagostine shares. “I truly care about my patients, their families and my colleagues and will work tirelessly to provide the best care possible.”
Dr. Dagostine is excited to join AdventHealth and continue her mission of compassionate, patient-centered care. She is married with two sons, and a rescue pup named “Archer.” Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, sports, playing pickleball, reading and cooking.
