New Cancer Services Director

FLAGLER ANDVOLUSIA COUNTIES, Fla., March 12, 2019 – Jody Sullivan has been selected to serve as the director of radiation oncology operations for AdventHealth Daytona Beach and AdventHealth Palm Coast.

Radiation oncology is a type of cancer treatment that uses a linear accelerator to deliver radiation to patients to attack cancer cells.

In this role, Sullivan will be responsible for the daily operations of the two hospitals’ radiation oncology departments and will provide insight for future strategies.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Sullivan has more than 25 years of oncology experience. He most recently served as radiation oncology director for Northeast Georgia Health System and was responsible for the daily operational activities for three oncology departments throughout the Northeast Georgia market.

A St. Augustine resident, Sullivan earned a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University, as well as radiography and radiation therapy certifications from the University of Kentucky.
