LAKE MARY, Fla. — Women and families in Seminole County now have access to more specialized care in one convenient location with the opening of AdventHealth's new Comprehensive Women's Center at AdventHealth Lake Mary Health Park.

The expanded third floor now brings OB-GYN, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, pelvic rehab, and breast surgery services together in one place for more coordinated women’s care.

The newly expanded third floor brings together OB-GYN care, maternal fetal medicine, urogynecology, women's pelvic rehabilitation therapy and breast surgery services under one roof, making it easier for patients to receive coordinated care throughout every stage of life.

For many women, managing multiple appointments with different specialists can be challenging.

The new center is designed to simplify that experience by bringing providers together in one location, helping patients spend less time navigating healthcare and more time focused on their health, their families and their future.

"This new Comprehensive Women's Center is about much more than expanding services. It is about creating a place where women feel seen, supported and cared for through every stage of life while making it easier to receive exceptional care close to home," said Jeff Villanueva, CEO of AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.

The 18,185-square-foot expansion builds on the success of AdventHealth Lake Mary Health Park, which opened in 2023 to improve access to convenient, connected outpatient care.

Since opening, the health park has welcomed more than 200,000 patient visits, reflecting the growing need for coordinated healthcare services in Seminole County.

The new center brings together specialists who work collaboratively to provide seamless care for women, reducing the need to travel between multiple offices and improving the overall patient experience.

"This center reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of the families we serve," Villanueva said. "When care is convenient, coordinated and connected to the community, lives are changed."

The expansion also strengthens AdventHealth's presence in Lake Mary by creating more than 20 new jobs while expanding access to women's health services for the growing community.

Community leaders joined AdventHealth executives, physicians, team members, and project partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the center.

The project was completed in partnership with Brasfield & Gorrie and HuntonBrady Architects, whose collaboration helped bring the vision for the new center to life.

The Comprehensive Women's Center officially opened to patients on July 9.
