SUMMERVILLE, Ga. AdventHealth Medical Group celebrated the grand opening of AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care and Urgent Care at Summerville, expanding access to convenient, whole-person care for families across Chattooga County.

Community leaders, partners and residents joined AdventHealth team members for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new clinic, located at 9777 Rome Boulevard in the Ingles shopping center.

“We are honored to open our doors and welcome the Summerville community to a place where they can feel supported, cared for and known,” said Karen Steely, chief operating officer at AdventHealth Medical Group Georgia. “This exciting new clinic reflects our mission of helping people feel whole by bringing accessible, whole-person care even closer to home.”

The clinic, which opened Feb. 16, offers primary care, urgent care, occupational health, workers’ compensation and school health services, with walk-in and same-day appointments available. Care is provided by an experienced team of nurse practitioners, including Christie Tankersley, ACNP-BC, and Anna Nicole Herring, FNP-C.

Designed with convenience and whole-person health at its center, the clinic brings expanded services to one of Northwest Georgia’s most rapidly growing communities. The new location ensures families can access care when and where they need it, supported by AdventHealth’s mission, values and dedication to clinically excellent, compassionate service.

“We are so excited about this investment by AdventHealth into our community,” said Jason Winters, Summerville City Manager. “Health care is one of our most critical needs, and for AdventHealth to renovate a space that’s been unoccupied for 20 years, and to provide quality care means so much to this community.”

AdventHealth Medical Group extends its gratitude to the community partners and neighbors who attended the celebration and looks forward to continuing to serve Chattooga County with world-class care close to home.
