PALM COAST, Fla., November 29, 2017 On Nov. 21, three local businesses donated nearly $12,500 to the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation to fund mammograms, breast ultrasounds, biopsies and other diagnostic services for local women in need.
We are so appreciative to all the support and effort our local business community provides Florida Hospital Flagler, said John Subers, Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation executive director. These businesses and their customers are making a difference in our community. These funds are saving lives in Flagler County.
For every car sold in October, Palm Coast Ford pledged $50 to the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation breast cancer fund. At the end of the month, their contribution totaled $7,450.
We are proud to have the opportunity to support the Flagler County community and are excited to partner with the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation on this great cause, said Don York, general manager of Palm Coast Ford. Our contribution directly reflects the wonderful customers that we have. Together, we are all saving lives in Flagler County.
For every express lava wash purchased in October, SuperWash Express pledged $1 to the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation breast cancer fund. In addition, the Palm Coast carwash collected donations from customers for a total contribution of $4,436.
We are happy to support this great cause, and appreciate all of our customers who helped us raise this money to fight breast cancer locally in our own community, said Paul Bradley, SuperWash Express president.
Staff at Palm Coast Data personally raised $605 to support the Florida Hospital Flagler Foundations breast cancer fund.
This is a cause our entire team truly supports and our human resources department organizes this fundraiser every year, said Gary Blumenfeld, vice president of sales and marketing for Palm Coast Data. In addition, our president and CEO, Rory Burke, was incredibly supportive and instrumental in the success of this years Pink 5K that also benefits the breast cancer services at Florida Hospital Flagler.
