Let’s Heal What Wounds You
Zephyrhills, Florida…June 3, 2019… The AdventHealth Wound Care Center Zephyrhills has been caring for patients with all kinds of wounds for more than 17 years, and from noon to 1 pm on Thursday, June 13, you’re invited to a lunch and learn at AdventHealth Zephyrhills, 7050 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills, to learn more about the Center’s services and treatments.
Precious Hoyle, the Center’s Director, and Judy Simpson, RN, BSN, Nurse Manager, will also touch on the Center’s amazing technology and how it helps to hasten wound healing. As a department of AdventHealth Zephyrhills, the nurses and therapists at the Wound Care Center Zephyrhills have more than 50 years of combined experience treating chronic wounds. Additionally, there are five physicians on staff who work closely with the Center’s nurses and therapists to determine the best treatment options for wounds caused by diabetes; vascular disorders; burns; radiation injuries; surgery; trauma; incontinence or other moisture-related dermatitis; and other types of wounds.
The AdventHealth Wound Care Center Zephyrhills also offers special therapies including hyperbaric oxygen therapy; bio-engineered tissue replacement; debridement; advanced interactive dressings; and more.
While many of these terms sound very scientific, Hoyle and Simpson have prepared a presentation that’s easy to understand and not graphic. They will set aside time to answer your questions.
Hoyle and Simpson are excited to share with you how they can help you heal, as they’ve seen patients of all ages and from all walks of life who’ve experienced wounds at one time or another. “Our goal is to work closely with every patient to ensure that they’re cared for with the greatest skill and empathy,” Hoyle said.
Reservations for the program are required by calling Call877-534-3108. If you’re unable to attend but would like more information, please call the AdventHealth Wound Care Center Zephyrhills at Call813-783-1237.
