AdventHealth Manchester is proud to announce Leslie Foster, CST, CRCST, Certified Surgical Technologist I, as the recipient of the 2025 Dr. Desai Service Standard Award. This prestigious recognition honors a team member who exemplifies AdventHealth’s service standards through exceptional care, compassion, and commitment to patients, families, and fellow team members.
The Dr. Desai Service Standard Award was established to honor the legacy of Dr. Suvas Desai, a longtime physician at AdventHealth Manchester whose career was defined by clinical excellence, kindness, and a deep dedication to AdventHealth’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ. As Dr. Desai entered retirement, the award was created to recognize individuals who continue to model the values and service standards he championed throughout his career.
Leslie Foster serves as a Certified Surgical Technologist I in the Surgery Department and consistently demonstrates the heart of AdventHealth’s service standards—Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make It Easy, and Own It—in her daily work. Her attention to detail, teamwork, and compassionate approach help ensure safe surgical experiences while providing comfort and reassurance to patients and their loved ones.
“Leslie embodies the spirit of this award,” said hospital leadership. “Her dedication to excellence, calm professionalism, and genuine care for those she serves reflect the lasting legacy of Dr. Desai and the values we strive to uphold every day at AdventHealth Manchester.”
The Dr. Desai Service Standard Award is presented annually and serves as a lasting tribute to Dr. Desai’s impact while celebrating team members who go above and beyond to deliver whole‑person care.
