Internal Medicine Physician Joins Hospital

PALM COAST, Fla., September 14, 2016 Board-certified internal medicine physician Dr. Haroldo D. Melo has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Flagler.

Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners is the employed group of physicians for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals within Volusia and Flagler counties. Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners consists of more than 150 physicians, including both primary care physicians and specialists, and enjoys a mutual partnership with Florida Hospital based upon the close alignment of the hospital's mission and values.

As an internal medicine physician with more than 12 years of experience, Melo is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as disease prevention and overall wellness. In his new practice, he will focus on complex adult care.

He received his medical degree from Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico and completed his residency at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts.

In addition to English, Melo is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and French.
