Hospital Honors Loved Ones during Tree-Lighting Ceremony

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., December 12, 2016 On Dec. 6, approximately 100 community members joined Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center for the annual Light of Love tree-lighting ceremony.

The Indigo Christian Academy Childrens Choir sang during this festive event that celebrated the lighting of the hospitals Christmas trees in the main lobby.

During the ceremony, the hospital honored the Armed Forces and placed special patriotic ornaments on The Freedom Tree, adorned with the names of those who serve, or have served, the country.

This has become one of my favorite events to go to each year. This special event gives us a moment to step back and reflect on the many blessings that God has given to us, and cherish the moments we have with loved ones, said Ed Noseworthy, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center CEO. It is a real treat to hear these children sing. Their little voices have such a big impact in putting us all in the Christmas spirit!
