ORMOND BEACH, Fla., January 8, 2019 – Family medicine physician Dr. James McDonnell has joined the AdventHealth Medical Group.
McDonnell has served area residents for more than 25 years, practicing in Ormond Beach since 1992.
As an AdventHealth Medical Group physician, McDonnell joins AdventHealth’s employed group of physicians with more than 160 primary care doctors and specialists in Volusia and Flagler counties.
In his practice, McDonnell cares for patients age 13 and older, and focuses on geriatric medicine, adult and adolescent care, and preventive medicine.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in Tampa and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Florida. He completed his family practice residency at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
McDonnell is board certified in family medicine by American Board of Family Practitioners and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Florida Academy of Family Practitioners and the Volusia County Medical Society.
His office is located at 305 Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 130, Ormond Beach. His practice accepts most insurance plans and can be reached at Call386-200-6418.
