Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, in partnership with Florida Theatrical Association, announced the AdventHealth Broadway in Orlando 26/27 Season, a robust lineup of 12 productions that reflects the continued growth of Orlando as one of the nation’s leading Broadway touring markets. The new season brings together global phenomena, returning audience favorites and Broadway premieres, all presented in Walt Disney Theater.

The 26/27 season includes Hamilton, Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, Beetlejuice, Jersey Boys, The Sound of Music and The Great Gatsby, alongside newer works making their Orlando debuts, including Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her and BOOP!® The Musical. Several of the season’s titles have previously played to sold-out or extended runs in Orlando, underscoring sustained demand for large-scale Broadway productions in Central Florida.

Since opening in 2014, Dr. Phillips Center has welcomed more than one million Broadway guests and has doubled its subscriber base over the past decade, establishing Orlando as a major stop on the national touring circuit.

Hamilton
September 29 – October 18, 2026

Hamilton is the epic saga that follows the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation. Based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and set to a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has had a profound impact on culture, politics and education. Hamilton features book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards®, it has won Grammy® and Olivier Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Buena Vista Social Club

The Great Gatsby
February 16 – 21, 2027

The party’s roaring in Orlando!

The Great Gatsby is a “Broadway extravaganza that explodes with life and energy” (Entertainment Weekly). Based on the classic American novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, this Tony Award®-winning new musical is an unforgettable journey of love, wealth and tragedy that brings the Roaring Twenties to life on stage.

Directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), this story of extravagance and longing features choreography by Dominique Kelley (So You Think You Can Dance), a book by Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones) and a jazz- and pop-influenced original score by Jason Howland (Little Women) and Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square).

The Sound of Music
March 2 – 7, 2027

Beauty and the Beast
April 20 – May 2, 2027

Be our guest at Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s first North American touring production of the beloved musical in over 25 years. This enchanting and timeless tale, filled with the romance and grandeur audiences know and love, has been brought to life like never before, with spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes. The show boasts the Oscar®-winning and Tony Award®-nominated score, including the classic songs “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.”

Reuniting to create this new production are members of the original Tony Award®-winning artistic team, including composer Alan Menken, lyricist Tim Rice, book writer Linda Woolverton, with direction and choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stanley A. Meyer, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting design by Natasha Katz. Beauty and the Beast is the beloved musical that will fill your heart with joy and Disney magic.

Beetlejuice (season option)

He earned his stripes on Broadway…now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Orlando.

It’s showtime! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, Beetlejuice is “screamingly good fun!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love and making the most of every Day-O!

Jersey Boys
June 22 – 27, 2027

The original Broadway sensation returns to the road! Celebrating 20 years - Jersey style!

They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard…and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story—a story that has made them an international sensation all over again.
