AdventHealth has named Brent Davis executive vice president and chief executive officer for the Primary Health Division.
In this role, Davis will oversee the continued growth and diversification of AdventHealth’s primary health business units to support value-based, longitudinal health care.
Davis continues to report to David Banks, AdventHealth’s group CEO of the Multi-State and Primary Health Divisions and chief strategy officer.
“Brent is a strategic thinker who is focused on the growth and success of our outpatient businesses. He is committed to finding new and better ways to expand our networks outside the walls of the hospital and meeting consumers where they are,” Banks said. “He is a mission-
minded and passionate leader who will continue to advance the Primary Health Division forward.”
Prior to this role, Davis served in a dual COO/CFO role for the Primary Health Division, where he had operational responsibility of the Population Health Services Organization, which leads and supports AdventHealth and its provider networks, as well as oversight of financial strategy.
He has also held multiple CFO roles, including regional chief financial officer for the AdventHealth facilities in Volusia, Flagler and Lake counties, as well as CFO at Kettering Medical Center System in Ohio, St. Anthony North Hospital and AdventHealth Avista, both in Colorado.
He began his career as a senior auditor for Ernst & Young in 2008.
“I am excited to be part of AdventHealth — a large and growing team committed to truly delivering whole-person care across the full continuum. Primary Health Division is focused on elevating performance and growth of primary care, home-based solutions and value-based care strategies,” Davis said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this team.”
Davis received a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in information technology from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Walla Walla University.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
