Eric Boling of AdventHealth Gordon EMS was recently presented the EMT of the Year award from the Calhoun Elks Lodge.
Each year, the Calhoun Elks Lodge holds the Lodge Awards where different people from the community and the club are honored. Boling was nominated by Donald Bowen, deputy director of AdventHealth Gordon EMS, with the following words: “Eric has been an EMT since 2006 and has been with us since 2010. He is an exemplary employee for our service and the citizens we serve.
Eric possesses all the skills an EMT needs including technical and people skills. What sets him apart is how he interacts with his patients, their families and the staff at the facilities we serve. He is calm and collected no matter the situation, and his rock-like presence helps to calm others around him. He thinks clearly and concisely while delivering care even on the most chaotic scenes. He works hard to raise the bar of others around him and is a shining example for others at our service. He truly strengthens our service and its capabilities.”
