With music, smiles, and backpacks in hand, families across Clay County gathered on Thursday, July 31, 2025, for the annual Back to School Bash at Clay County High School. Hosted in partnership with AdventHealth Manchester, Clay County Schools, Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSC), First National Bank, Walmart, and numerous local organizations, the event welcomed more than 340 attendees to celebrate the start of a new school year.
This community-wide effort created a welcoming and supportive environment for students and their families. From free school supplies to wellness resources and community booths, every detail of the evening reflected a shared commitment to whole-person care and student success.
AdventHealth Manchester distributed pre-filled drawstring backpacks containing school essentials like binders, folders, notebooks, and pencil pouches, helping students start the year organized and prepared.
“At AdventHealth, our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Christ in every community we serve,” said Crystal Day, Director of Marketing and Communications. “That means lifting up students and families not only with health care but with encouragement, partnership, and presence.”
The Back to School Bash would not have been possible without the dedication of community partners, volunteers, and local leaders who generously gave their time and resources to serve others.
AdventHealth Manchester remains committed to building a healthier, stronger Clay County. We are honored to walk alongside families as they begin a new academic year with confidence and care.
