AdventHealth Enhances Community Health with New ENT Provider in WNC

AdventHealth welcomes Madeline Donaldson, MD, to its team of expert ENT providers at AdventHealth Medical Group Ear, Nose and Throat at Hendersonville*. Dr. Donaldson is board-eligible in Otolaryngology and provides comprehensive ENT care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing disorders of the ear, nose, throat and neck.

Dr. Donaldson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University in Kent, OH and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH. She then completed the Henry Ford Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency.

Dr. Donaldson is passionate about providing the highest-quality care rooted in empathy and trust. She strives to put her patients and their individual needs first and foremost at the center of her care. She believes building relationships and trust is key when it comes to providing whole-person care.

“I like to make sure people feel heard,” Dr. Donaldson shares. “Even if the smallest ENT related problem is interrupting someone’s quality of life, I would like to fix it for them. As an example, there are few things better than someone lighting up after nasal surgery as they take in the first full breath of air completely through the nose.”

Dr. Donaldson will be providing a wide range of specialized treatments including minimally invasive nasal, sinus and vocal surgeries, complex wound closures and scar revision, specialized surgeries for sleep apnea, hearing loss and for the head and neck. She provides compassionate, high-quality care for disorders of the ear, nose, throat and neck.

Dr. Donaldson is excited to be joining the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Ear, Nose and Throat at Hendersonville. She shares, “Surgery is scary, but I want people to feel safe in my hands. My entire life has been training for and doing this job. I promise to show up each and every day for all my patients and to present the best version of myself.”

She and her husband, Lane, recently celebrated their marriage and have a beloved cat named Joey. Outside of work, Dr. Donaldson enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring nature, singing and playing the piano. She has even hiked to the Everest Base Camp!
