TEDx Orlando - Richard Hickam

We’re delighted to announce Richard Hickam as a speaker for TEDxOrlando.

Richard is Executive Director of Music & the Arts at AdventHealth, where he leads work at the intersection of creativity, health, and whole-person care. A conductor, composer, educator, and speaker, he founded the AdventHealth Orchestra and has spent decades exploring how music, beauty, and shared creative experience can foster connection, meaning, and healing.

In his TEDxOrlando talk, Richard will explore why healing is about more than fixing what is broken. Drawing on real-world experience in healthcare and the arts, he shows how music, story, beauty, and creative engagement can help move people toward wholeness, connection, and hope.

Please join us in welcoming Richard to the TEDxOrlando stage.
