Poster Presented at SGO Virtual Meeting on Women’s Cancer
AdventHealth’s Robert Holloway, MD, presented a poster titled “Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in High-grade Endometrial Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Performance Characteristics” at the SGO 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer. The study concluded that SLNB accurately detected lymph node metastases and could replace complete lymphadenectomy for patients with high-grade EC.

Phase 2 VIRO-15 Trial for Ovarian Cancer
This poster reviews the results of a Phase 2 VIRO-15 trial of olvimulogene nanivacirepvec (Olvi-Vec)-primed immunochemotherapy in heavily pre-treated patients with platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer (PRROC). It concluded that the majority of patients benefited from apparent reversal of platinum resistance with preserved or improved performance status.

Transcriptomic Immune Profiling: A Precision Path Forward for Immunotherapy in Patients with Cervical Cancer?
This poster was presented at the SGO 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer. This analysis suggests that WTS immune profiling should be further investigated to better predict which cervical cancer patients might benefit most from immunotherapy.

The Effect of Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy After Interval Cytoreductive Surgery on Recurrence and Survival in Patients with Advanced Stage Ovarian Carcinoma
This poster reviews the results of a study on the effect of intraperitoneal (IP) chemotherapy after neoadjuvant intravenous (IV) chemotherapy and interval cytoreductive surgery on recurrence and survival in patients with advanced stage ovarian carcinoma. In this retrospective study, IP therapy was shown to be associated with improved survival compared to adjuvant intravenous (IV) therapy.
