Parathyroid Surgery

Our highly qualified surgeons can perform minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, video-assisted parathyroidectomy and endoscopic parathyroidectomy procedures to address (usually benign) tumors that are causing the parathyroid gland to overproduce hormones. These surgeries are generally performed with the patient under general anesthesia, but are outpatient procedures that allow the patient to go home on the same day. They typically result in a cure for hyperparathyroidism brought on by a small and non-cancerous tumor.
