Volunteer Opportunity: Free Student-Athlete Sports Physicals & ECG Screenings

AdventHealth is proud to offer a FREE Pre‑Participation Sports Physical event, including FREE ECG screenings, for all North Lake County Public School student-athletes—including those participating in ROTC, Band, and other extracurricular activities.

The event will take place ONE DAY ONLY at Mount Dora High School. To effectively serve our local students, we will require 50+ volunteers, including both clinical and non‑clinical team members. We encourage you to make this a team-building opportunity by signing up with your office or department.

We anticipate serving approximately 300-400 students throughout the event.

Volunteer Schedule

Volunteers are asked to arrive prior to the event start time for a team meeting and event overview.

• Shift 1: Friday, May 15 | 2:00–6:00 PM
• Shift 2: Friday, May 15 | 4:00–8:00 PM

✅ Volunteers may sign up for more than one shift.

Volunteer Roles Needed

Clinical Volunteers

• Vital signs (MA, RN, AT, etc.)
• Musculoskeletal screenings (PT, AT, MD. PA, DO)
• Medical evaluations (MD, PA, DO, NP)
• ECG screenings (MA, RN, AT, PT, PA, NP)

Non‑Clinical Volunteers

• Registration and check‑out
• Patient flow coordination
• Vendor support
• Athlete engagement and support
• Medical records

• Please complete the registration form on the right. Once registered, you will receive a calendar invitation with additional details, including what to expect, what to wear, and where to report.
• Each volunteer will receive an event t‑shirt and light dinner.
