Hisham Qandeel, MD Board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon, joined AdventHealth Kansas City in 2026 and serves as the medical director of Cardiothoracic Surgery service. Dr. Qandeel provides care for all aspects of adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, and he brings minimally invasive and robotic surgery techniques to AdventHealth Medical Group. Dr. Qandeel was privileged with 10 years of advanced surgical training and experience at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. Before joining AdventHealth, Dr. Qandeel served as the Chief and Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Michigan Health - Sparrow and was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. With his many years of clinical experience and leadership, Dr. Qandeel has an outstanding record of great outcomes and patient satisfaction.
