Brett Sasseen, MD, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience in cardiovascular and interventional care. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. He completed fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia. Before joining AdventHealth, Dr. Sasseen served as assistant professor of medicine and associate director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville. Most recently, he practiced at First Coast Cardiovascular Institute. Dr. Sasseen is passionate about preventing heart disease through lifestyle medicine and has been an invited speaker at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine in 2024 and 2025.
