Omar Beidas, MD, FACS

Omar E. Beidas, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic surgery, body contouring, high-definition liposuction, plastic surgery after weight loss, and lipedema. He completed the only fellowship in plastic surgery over weight loss at the University of Pittsburgh, training with world-renowned experts, where he spent an entire year dedicated to performing these specific procedures that restore patients' lives after weight loss.

He continues to learn and maintain the newest and latest techniques in plastic surgery, always looking to hone and develop his skills to provide the best results for his patients. He is a total definer student, having attended several meetings by the inventor of high-definition liposuction, Alfredo Hoyos. He has pioneered or designed several skin removal surgeries and techniques including a torsoplasty and flankplasty, and is one of the highest volume lower body lift and thighplasty surgeons in the USA.

He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons where he serves or chairs several committees. A highly experienced surgeon, he is a contributing editor for the Journal for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, the premier journal for the field, and is a reviewer for Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Beidas has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, written several chapters for medical textbooks, and has been invited to present his work at national meetings every year for over 5 consecutive years.
