Michael Korostensky, MD

Michael Korostensky, MD, is a urologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, having earned his medical degree from the University of Calgary and completed his urology residency at McMaster University. He furthered his expertise through an advanced endourology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, under the guidance of Dr. Stephen Y. Nakada and Dr. Margaret Knoedler. Dr. Korostensky’s clinical focus includes laser therapies for benign prostatic hyperplasia, complex kidney stone disease, and minimally invasive oncologic and reconstructive surgery, complemented by his active involvement in research, particularly in the areas of renal stone treatment and surgical clinical trials. Outside of medicine, Dr. Korostensky has a passion for world travel and experiences that enrich his practice and understanding of the diverse backgrounds and needs of his patients.
