We all deserve a healthy, fulfilling life in body, mind, and spirit. So when you’re faced with challenges, AdventHealth Gordon is here to help you reach your wellness goals. Our elderly and underprivileged neighbors in the Gordon County area can access our popular free community health-education classes, special clinical and non-clinical programs, and spiritual resources along with financial assistance for medical expenses.

All of our neighbors are invited to join our free or low-cost health education classes and support groups, where they can learn healthier habits, discover ways to move through a new life transition, or simply spend time with others who have similar life experiences. It all works toward creating healthier and happier communities and is all part of AdventHealth's mission to provide whole-person care for every one of our neighbors.

Knowing that you're not alone, knowing that there are others who understand your feelings and your pain, these are powerful components of the healing process. You will find that the support you get from someone else who has experienced what you're going through is invaluable.

  • Beautiful You Program

    Beautiful You is a program dedicated to supporting women as they go through cancer treatment by nurturing body, mind and spirit. It provides patients with wigs and turbans free of charge to help patients feel more like themselves, and a makeup representative speaks to patients about skincare and makeup application.

  • Cancer and Caregiver Support Group

    Designed for cancer survivors, cancer patients currently undergoing treatment and cancer caregivers, this group provides an avenue where you can discuss your treatment, feelings, fears and joys with others who have faced, and are facing, the same battle. This group also provides support by sharing experiences and fears that a cancer diagnosis brings.
