Providing Second Chances
Harper Jo got a second chance at life after receiving a kidney transplant. Due to a rare genetic condition, a multitude of cysts formed in Harper’s kidneys resulting in the removal of both organs shortly after she was born. After months of dialysis, a match was found! AdventHealth for Children is proud to be the leading children’s hospital for transplant care in Central Florida, giving children the gift of life. In the past year, our team completed 9 pediatric kidney transplants.
