Sabikha Alam Zulfiqar, MD

Sabikha Alam Zulfiqar, MD is a pediatric cardiology physician. She is a central Florida native, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and medical degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Alam then went to complete her pediatrics residency and a prestigious pediatric cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Alam has contributed to a wide range of research from working in an embryonic heart development laboratory to outcomes research in children with congenital heart disease. She has presented her work at several national cardiology conferences. She also enjoys engaging in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education and community outreach. Dr. Alam is eager to continue building compassionate relationships with her patients and families. She is excited to be part of the cardiology inpatient team and general cardiology outpatient services.
