Biography

Osama Al-Omar, MD, MBA, FEBU, FACS , is a board-certified pediatric urologist with more than 20 years of clinical and academic experience. Dr. Al-Omar earned his medical degree from Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria, and completed fellowships in pediatric urology at children’s hospital of Michigan/and andrology urology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Before joining AdventHealth, he served as chief of pediatric urology, director of pediatric urology robotic surgery and professor of urology at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Al-Omar has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented nationally and internationally on pediatric urology and robotic surgery.
