Meet Our Keynote Speaker

Colette A. Salm-Schmid, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon and fellowship-trained breast surgeon committed to delivering evidence-based, high-quality, patient-centered care to patients across Western North Carolina. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Salm-Schmid is passionate about providing exceptional breast care, specializing in Paget's disease of the breast, breast cancer and intraductal papilloma, angiosarcoma and lymphadenectomy. Dr. Salm-Schmid’s message will shine a light on the empowerment of patients throughout their care journey and how the latest technologies and advancements in prevention, diagnosis and treatment are growing whole-person breast cancer services at AdventHealth Hendersonville.
