Although illnesses and injuries can occur suddenly, you can access immediate, effective care at our new freestanding emergency room in Auburndale.

Our emergency physicians and other highly trained providers at our AdventHealth Auburndale ER treat a wide range of emergencies in children and adults, including:

  • Broken bones and complicated fractures
  • Deep wounds
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Heart attack symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, extreme fatigue and upper body discomfort)
  • Major head injury
  • Poisoning
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe allergic reactions
  • Severe burns
  • Stroke symptoms (facial droop, slurred speech and sudden numbness on one side of the body)
  • Vomiting or coughing up blood

For illnesses and injuries that aren’t life-threatening, our AdventHealth Centra Care urgent care centers in Polk County are ready to serve you with convenient hours and walk-in availability seven days a week.

    Our emergency room physicians, critical care nurses, chest pain experts and stroke specialists are here for you around the clock. We’re ready to provide the highest level of care for any emergency.

  • Connected Care Network

    You can rest easy knowing our Auburndale ER is part of AdventHealth's connected network of care. If you need more intensive treatment after your ER visit, we can quickly transport you to the nearest AdventHealth hospital, where you’ll receive the proper care for your unique needs.

  • Overnight Observation

    For some emergencies, you may need to stay longer so we can closely monitor your progress. Our overnight observation unit allows us to watch, listen and care for you without moving you to another facility.

Complete Emergency Care, All Under One Roof

Our new state-of-the-art freestanding emergency room in Auburndale will feature 12 private rooms, a full-service lab, dedicated pharmacy services and medical imaging services, including computed tomography (CT) scans, ultrasounds and X-rays. Other select features of our new freestanding ER include:

  • Board-certified emergency physicians and nurses
  • Pediatric emergency care
  • Respiratory therapy
