Manuel Calcagno, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Calcagno received his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where he graduated with honors. He completed his family medicine residency at Borinquen Health Care Centers in Miami, Florida, where he was awarded the Resident of the Year award during his second year and achieving the rank of Chief Resident during his last year. Before residency, Dr. Calcagno worked in clinical research for several years. A strong believer in a holistic approach to medicine, Dr. Calcagno emphasizes lifestyle modifications as the foundation for optimal health, recognizing the impact of habits, nutrition, exercise, and stress management in overall health. Dr. Calcagno is fluent in English and Spanish, and is now accepting new patients in Tampa, ages 12 and up.

Trinh Doung-Pham, MD is an internal medicine physician who is fluent in both Vietnamese and English. She has special training and interest in the treatment and management of diabetes, obesity, COPD and heart failure.

It is Dr. Pham’s honor to care for and built trust with her patients. Having been on the other side of patient care, she understands that treating the ailment is simply not enough. She treats the whole person with pure compassion as she’d want her own mother and father treated.

Paola Garcia-Rios, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in gynecology who cares for patients ages 16 and older. She felt called to this field because it allows her to support patients during some of their most personal and vulnerable moments. Paola values building longterm relationships and empowering patients to understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health. Providing care through routine visits, complex diagnoses and major life transitions is especially meaningful to her. Paola completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of South Florida and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Gannon University. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Seth L. Maxwell, DO, is a board-certified cardiologist at AdventHealth Tampa’s Pepin Heart Institute, specializing in cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiovascular imaging, providing care to patients ages 18 and older. Dr. Maxwell earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Brandon Regional Hospital and went on to complete two fellowships in Florida: one in cardiovascular disease at Largo Medical Center and another in advanced cardiovascular imaging at South Tampa Cardiology.
