THERAPEUTIC STRATEGIES FOR MICROVASCULAR DYSFUNCTION IN TYPE 1 DIABETES



MCD-1 Study Purpose-The purpose of this study is to look at how insulin (a hormone that helps the cells get energy from sugar) affects blood flow in the leg and in the heart and how an investigational drug called dulaglutide affects insulin’s action. We also want to see if dulaglutide improves the health of blood vessels by measuring blood vessels’ stiffness and how they react to certain stimuli.

Age-18-40 years old
Sex-Male and Female
Conditions/Eligibility-Male or females, ≥18 years old and ≤40 years old, with Type 1 diabetes and are otherwise healthy
