Advancing Discovery, Improving Lives
"The Scientific Program Committee of the ADA recently selected 3 abstracts submitted by researchers from the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute Diabetes Program for their Presidential Select Abstract Designation. These prestigious awards reflect the strength of AdventHealth’s scientific community and our commitment to advancing meaningful discoveries in diabetes,” said Dr. Richard Pratley, Samuel E. Crockett Chair in Diabetes Research, Medical Director of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute, and Senior Investigator and Diabetes Program Lead at the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute. “By sharing these findings with the broader scientific community, we are helping advance understanding and accelerate progress toward more effective approaches to prevention, treatment and care.
“These presentations highlight the strength of our research ecosystem and the collaboration required to bring meaningful discoveries forward,” said Rob Herzog, Vice President of Research. “We are proud of our teams for advancing work that not only contributes to the scientific community but ultimately brings hope to the patients and families we serve.”
Rooted in AdventHealth’s commitment to whole-person care, this work reflects a broader mission to care for the body, mind and spirit -- advancing research that supports healthier futures for individuals living with diabetes.
