First BrioVAD Implant Successfully Completed

On September 24, the Transplant team successfully implanted the first BrioVAD device at AdventHealth, a major milestone in the ongoing INNOVATE 2254936 Vidic trial.

The study is led by Dr. Andrija Vidic, with the first implant performed by Dr. Ahmad Zeeshan.

This achievement marks an exciting step forward in advancing care for patients with advanced heart failure, reinforcing AdventHealth’s commitment to pioneering cardiovascular research and transformative therapies.
