AdventHealth researcher Dr. Lauren Sparks recently had the honor of participating in LIMNA’s 17th Annual Symposium on “Metabolism and Aging” at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. The symposium brought together scientists from across disciplines and borders to advance conversation around one of the most important frontiers in health: how metabolism changes over time and what that means for healthy aging.
LIMNA, the Lausanne Integrated Metabolism and Nutrition Alliance, is building meaningful collaboration among local, national, and international partners committed to moving metabolism research forward while intentionally engaging trainees and the next generation of scientists. That mission strongly reflects AdventHealth Research Institute’s commitment to thought leadership, mentorship, and discovery that translates into better care for the communities we serve.
“I’m inspired by the ongoing conversations and partnerships shaping the future of metabolism research,” Sparks said. “I’m excited to be part of mentorship initiatives and collaborative projects that empower the next generation of scientists.” As the field continues to evolve, AdventHealth remains committed to advancing research that informs innovation, deepens scientific understanding, and supports healthier lives at every stage.
