Elacestrant versus Standard Endocrine Therapy in Women and Men with Node-positive, Estrogen Receptor-positive, HER2-negative, Early Breast Cancer with High Risk of Recurrence - A Global, Multicenter, Randomized, Open-label Phase 3 Study (ELEGANT).

The purpose of this clinical study is to test the safety and efficacy of elacestrant compared to standard of care therapy in participants with node-positive, estrogen receptor-positive (ER+), HER2-negative (HER2-) early breast cancer with high risk of coming back. To evaluate the effect of elacestrant compared to standard of care therapy in your ability to do your normal day to day activities. To assess what the study drug does to the tumor markers that can be measured in your blood that are related to development and growth of your tumor. Genetic testing may also be performed to evaluate specific mutations. In addition, the levels of the study drug in the blood will be measured (pharmacokinetics) in a subset of participants in the USA.
