Oligoastrocytoma

Precise and Personalized Brain Tumor Care

Oligoastrocytoma belong to a group of brain tumors called gliomas that arise from the supportive tissue, or glial cells, of the brain and spinal cords. The mass includes two types of tumor cells and can occur anywhere in the brain. Symptoms depend on the size and location of the tumor, but commonly include seizures, headaches and personality changes. Oligoastrocytomas are most common in young and middle-aged adults.

We’re dedicated to caring for adults and children affected by gliomas, including oligoastrocytoma. We specialize in minimally invasive treatments that use laser technology to remove tumors or reduce their size. These advanced techniques often minimize damage to surrounding tissue and result in less scarring and pain. We always work to design the most effective, least invasive treatment plan possible for you.
