AdventHealth Will Help You Thrive

The AdventHealth Metabolic Health Institute has joined forces with the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) to offer Thrive, an ongoing, voluntary, no-cost diabetes program. Providing comprehensive support for the whole you, this program will give you the tools to take charge of your health and reach your goals.
Our Thrive – Diabetes Care Program is available to any OUC employee, retiree (not eligible for Medicare), spouse or dependent (18 years or older) with a diagnosis of Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes, an A1C equal to or greater than 7% at the time of enrollment and who belong to the Orlando Utilities Commission health plan administered by Aetna.

Our program offers free quarterly visits with a diabetes and endocrine specialist, quarterly labs at an AdventHealth lab, comprehensive diabetes self-management education and quarterly lifestyle education consults.
