Aakash Modi, MD

Aakash Modi, MD, is a board-certified interventional pulmonologist who obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY, where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Modi went on to complete a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY where he was named Chief Fellow. Dr. Modi completed a second fellowship in interventional and advanced diagnostic pulmonology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Dr. Modi comes to AdventHealth from Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, FL, where he has served as a interventional pulmonologist, general pulmonologist and critical care intensivist since 2019. He is the author of numerous publications and has given many presentations and lectures throughout his career.
