Easing Pain Through Palliative Care

Palliative care supports people living with a serious illness by easing symptoms, reducing stress and helping improve their quality of life at any stage of care. Answer:

Palliative care can be provided alongside curative or life-prolonging treatments. It is not the same as hospice care and can begin at any point during an illness.

    Answer:

Palliative care may be helpful if you or a loved one is experiencing symptoms such as pain, fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath, anxiety or emotional distress related to illness or treatment.
