The Modus Plan(tm) system includes a Modus V™ digital microscope with a robotic arm, developed from technology used on the International Space Station.
With this microscope, our brain surgery specialists can magnify pictures of your brain and surrounding tissue, which improves accuracy during surgery. These images also appear on a large, high-definition monitor that allows the entire operating team to see the surgical area.
Having the microscope on a robotic arm also means your surgeons can operate in a more comfortable, seated position, reducing their fatigue during your procedure.
