Maher Salam, MD, FACG, is a board-certified gastroenterologist. Dr. Salam is deeply committed to the care of all his patients. He is honored by the privilege to help them restore and manage their digestive health, an important foundation toward achieving whole health. With a philosophy rooted in empathy and patient-centeredness, Dr. Salam actively listens to his patients, crafts tailored treatment plans and emphasizes preventive measures for sustained well-being along with providing his patients with exceptional care, Dr. Salam is the esteemed author of many publications, served as a Chief of internal Medicine at FTMC and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at Ohio University Heritage College. Dr. Salam is fluent in both English and Arabic and sees patients ages 18 years and above.
