World-Class Care Close to Home Individualized Treatment Options
-
Electron Beam Therapy
Electron beam radiation therapy is used to treat lymphoma in the skin. There are two types of electron beam radiation therapy. If one or more spots on the body will be treated, this is called spot treatment. If the entire surface of the skin will be treated, this is called total skin electron beam (TSEB) therapy. Electrons do not go deep in your body, so the dose of radiation to deeper tissues is minimal.
-
Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
The most advanced form of radiation therapy available, IGRT enables doctors to precisely locate and visualize the tumor before each dose is administered. Our state-of-the-art delivery system enables doctors to choose the most appropriate treatment for treating cancer in the body, head or neck, and deliver treatments all on one machine in a single room.
-
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
With fewer side effects than standard radiation therapy, IMRT is a highly accurate radiation instrument that spares normal tissue, allows for superior dose distributions, and is able to treat tumors near critical structures.

Advanced Radiation Therapy for Whole Healing
Our AdventHealth Sebring Cancer Institute is excited to announce that we added a new, advanced, leading-edge technology—the TrueBeam Radiotherapy System from Varian Medical Systems—to our cancer treatment options. This innovative system allows your provider a new approach to treating cancer with image-guided radiotherapy.
The TrueBeam system is powerful cancer radiation therapy with pinpoint accuracy for cancers of the lung, breast, prostate, head and neck, as well as other cancers that are treatable with radiotherapy.
It also means faster treatment times. Because it’s a quicker, more targeted treatment, even as tumors move and change over time, less time is spent on radiation. The TrueBeam system can complete treatment in less time than previous treatment options. Every step to make treatments more accurate will help reduce radiation and ultimately reduce side effects.
