Childbirth Preparation Class (in-person)

The big day is on the way! Nine months of anticipation leads to this experience. This 3-class series will prepare expectant parents with the education to prepare for labor and birth, including:

• Pre-labor signs and what you can do to prepare before labor starts
• Understanding the vocabulary and physical process of labor
• Comfort techniques, pain management and common medical interventions
• The types of birth including cesarean birth
• What happens immediately after birth, with a brief overview of breastfeeding and newborn information

It is recommended that this class be completed 4-6 weeks before your due date. One support person is encouraged to join you and does not need to register separately.

This is an in-person class and will take place on over three sessions
