Breastfeeding Class (In-Person)
About this Event
Learn the basics about the most natural form of feeding your baby. Recommended to be completed prior to the birth of your baby. This in-person class covers anatomy and physiology of the breast, the benefits of breastfeeding, how the breast makes milk, solving and avoiding problems, and the basics of breastfeeding and special circumstances.
Only one person needs to register. One adult support person is encouraged to attend this class with you.
Food & Drinks
Feel free to bring your favorite snack, drinks, or light meal to enjoy during class! We want you to be comfortable and relaxed while you learn. Vending machines with snacks and beverages are also available on-site for your convenience.
Parking Update – AdventHealth Tampa Women’s Health Pavilion
As part of ongoing construction at AdventHealth Tampa, the parking lot across from the Women’s Health Pavilion is currently closed. Parents and visitors may be dropped off and picked up at the front entrance of the Women’s Health Pavilion. Parking is now available on the nearby on-campus parking deck, just a short walk away. If you are planning a visit to the Women’s Center, please allow a few extra minutes for parking. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Complimentary valet parking at the Women's Health Pavilion is offered to patients and visitors Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (not available on Holidays).
