AdventHealth South Overland Park ER Receives 2019 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award® for Achieving and Sustaining Excellence in Patient Experience

November 25, 2019 — Overland Park, KS – AdventHealth South Overland Park ER is pleased to announce it has been named a 2019 Guardian of Excellence Award^® winner by Press Ganey. The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95^th percentile or above of performance in Patient Experience.

The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in health care. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.

AdventHealth South Overland Park, located at 165^th Street and Antioch in the BluHawk Development, opened in 2017. The 24/7 emergency department brings fast, specialized emergency care for the entire family to south Johnson County. In October, AdventHealth South Overland Park began construction on a 193,000 square-foot, 85-bed inpatient hospital designed to provide patients with access to a full suite of hospital and emergency services. Construction is expected to be complete in late 2021.
