M. Jameel Kyasa, MD

M. Jameel Kyasa, MD, is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with AdventHealth Medical Group Hematology Oncology at Shawnee Mission. He treats all types of cancer and his clinical areas of interest include lung, head & neck and breast cancers.

The AdventHealth Cancer Center Shawnee Mission is a certified member, and Dr. Kyasa is a certified provider, of MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Kyasa earned his medical degree from Aleppo University in Syria and he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Health System. He completed his medical oncology-hematology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He joined AdventHealth in 2017.
