Ability Level: anyone can participate regardless of health condition or ability. A chair is used to modify Tai Chi movements if needed. Wear comfortable clothes.
Class Description: Tai Chi pairs movements with breath work to promote physical and mental healing. Class begins seated using QiGong breathing to center awareness. The class engages in a series of gentle movements to loosen mind, heart and body.
Health Benefits: Reduce depression, stress and anxiety; lowers blood pressure and inflammation to improve heart health and interpersonal relationships; promotes balance and slows the aging process.
